Just survived Blizzard ’26… and already hearing there’s a sequel? 😳
Rescued from nye: our very best attempts. Happy 2026! ✨
NYC snow day! Yesterday’s baking tray became a sled, and the trout came along.

Feeding has been such a challenge for us lately and I’ve been doubting myself more than I’d like to admit. But today we tried something new. Lunch at the park and he ate! He finished the chicken and broccoli I made, plus a bottle. Now he’s napping in the stroller while I sit here on the grass, doing absolutely nothing and soaking in the peace and quiet. Tiny’s right here too, in full zen mode. Happy October 1st 🐇🐇

Sharing our favorite 1 year old gifts. What would your toddler love? 🙂
I love this question from @yamconcepcion and I know it’s a question so many of you have. That’s exactly why I wanted to share a quick strategy on breaking people-pleasing cycles. First working on these cycles in ourselves will help us pass along these habits to our kids. And you might be thinking, “Okay then what?! How do I apply this to my life so I don’t pass along people-pleasing habits to my kid?” Start by noticing the moments when they clearly know what they want (yes, even when it’s ice cream at 4pm.) A child saying “I want ___” isn’t being difficult. They’re practicing using their voice. They’re practicing not shrinking, not apologizing, not guessing what someone else wants first. That’s a skill worth protecting. So first, name their feeling: “You really want ice cream. I love that you speak up for what you want.” And then I set the boundary I need: “We’re not having ice cream today.” Our kids learn: My wants make sense… and my parent can still say no. Have a question you want me to answer? Submit your question (or a video!) through the Google Form in the link in my bio.
Before the chaos… My sacred 15 minutes. Coffee, make the bed, Tiny’s meds, and a little skincare. Trying out a new @111skin cleanser, my go-to moisturizer sunscreen from @glossier, and a spritz of @santamarianovella1221 Aqua della Regina — smells like Nenuco, my childhood scent.
