I wasn’t really just mentally spent. I planned my mother’s 70th which was such a blessing then unexpectedly planned a funeral for someone who had been present for half of my life. I just didn’t have the capacity and quite frankly, the money to spend on a party.
My man @scoobzdoo and my brother @markelringer stepped in. I didn’t have to worry about a thing! I am so grateful to you two for making all this happen!
I got to bring in my personal new year for the weekend with the incredible @rosegawd! We were at every event she curates and it was the most perfect birthday! One thing about me, I believe in community, and my community CONSISTENTLY shows up for me! My boxing gym @boxunionstudio threw the most amazing private boxing class! My brother @earryhall hosted me and all my friends at his amazing establishment @sincerelyyours.la! @ralphthomas_ came through with this amazing photobooth for me and all my friends, which was a huge blessing! @tavaressmith thank you for always opening @prjct77onefour to me and the homies!
I didn’t rush to post on my bday, I really took the time to just soak it all in and process. I am so grateful. That’s really all I have. Thank you for every birthday wish and gift!
