February 15, 1986, a real on was born. ✨40✨I wasn’t really going to celebrate my birthday, not because I have an issue with turning this milestone age. I wasn’t really just mentally spent. I planned my mother’s 70th which was such a blessing then unexpectedly planned a funeral for someone who had been present for half of my life. I just didn’t have the capacity and quite frankly, the money to spend on a party. My man @scoobzdoo and my brother @markelringer stepped in. I didn’t have to worry about a thing! I am so grateful to you two for making all this happen! I got to bring in my personal new year for the weekend with the incredible @rosegawd! We were at every event she curates and it was the most perfect birthday! One thing about me, I believe in community, and my community CONSISTENTLY shows up for me! My boxing gym @boxunionstudio threw the most amazing private boxing class!
