Brenda Song Instagram – Now that we’ve done the big reveal, let’s look at some of the sculpting process! (I’ll do a separate one for the costumes because 😮‍💨) Outside of a couple music videos I’ve never sculpted the person a puppet will be going to, it’s always seemed like too much pressure or too easy to insult them if I make them look too “creepy”. But @culkamania really seemed to get it, to love the magic in the milky eyes, and for that I’m so very grateful. I’m so proud of these face sculpts, he and @brendasong have such vibrant features it almost made it easy (almost…) and although not pictured here for privacy, the bebes were equally as delightful. And the tiny boots?! Ugh, I love puppets so much, I really do. Grateful beyond measure for the chance to make them for people who still hold onto the wonder and whimsy and world at the heart of them.
