I’ve been mostly offline lately, but I felt compelled to come on and extend all my love and appreciation to the dream team who made our home a reality—twice. There aren’t sufficient words for you (@sarahshermansamuel, @emilyfarnhamarchitecture, @bronstruction, @johnstonvidalprojects, @terremoto_landscape, @sarahmatthews.co and ALL of their respective teams). I don’t think any of us imagined what an endeavor it would become when Taylor and I wandered into that open house in the early days of COVID. I was just barely pregnant with Gus (though I didn’t know it yet) in June 2020. We moved in with two toddlers three and a half years later, evacuated on January 7 with those same toddlers and a three-month-old, and then made our way back nine months later with a one-year-old on the verge of walking. I know there will be complicated feelings about this choice to share, and that’s part of why I’ve stayed offline- the internet is no longer for my tender heart lol). I want to say that I honor and hold space for everyone grieving the destruction and aftermath of the fires. At first, I was hesitant to take part, simply because of the scale of the loss in our community and across Los Angeles. Yes, we lost things too, but we’re also living with immense gratitude for what was miraculously saved and the acknowledgement of the privelege that comes with it. Sorting through those complex emotions—especially the survivor’s guilt—has been challenging. The opportunity to be in the pages of AD was actually in the works long before the fires, so we ultimately chose to use it as a chance to honor the beautiful work of our friends, who toiled tirelessly for years and deserve every bit of credit. We love our community and feel so buoyed by the construction and life slowly returning. We can’t wait to keep championing Altadena and everything that makes it such a special place for those of us lucky enough to still call it home. Altadena forever. 🩷 Thank you @amyastley and team @archdigest, photographer @trevortondro, interior stylist @amykchin and their WONDERFUL and THOUGHTFUL crews. My glam gals (@barbdoeshair, @dendoll, @ecduzit)- love you.

There’s something SO special about watching your child discover @disneyland for the very first time. Yesterday was THAT day for Ozzie. We talked a lot about it as a family so he would know what to expect but nothing can truly prepare you for the experience itself and boy did it not disappoint. What started out as a day feeling slightly timid, ended with nonstop chatter (before passing out 10 minutes into the drive home) about seeing Spider-Man, Jack Skellington, Mickey, Buzz Lightyear, R2D2 and more. Being in the park during this festive season with some of Oz and Gus’s best pals was such a blast. Thank you to Erin, THE GREATEST guide of all time, for taking extra special care of us (and the birthday boy). We ❤️ you, @disneyland and @disneyparks!!! #Disneyland #Disney #Disneyland70

First day of production for our new drama series created by the incredible @danfogman! See you soon on @hulu and don’t forget… football is family. 🏈🧡
Motherhood is full of surprises—from first words to unexpected snuggles and messy spills. These little moments keep me on my toes and fill my heart 💕. While I cherish those early morning cuddles, I also like to be prepared for the tougher parts of parenting. So, when Lou entered her first respiratory syncytial virus (#RSV) season, I talked to her doctor about helping to protect her with Beyfortus (nirsevimab-alip) 50mg and100mg. #SanofiSponsored In the end, my husband and I decided to get her Beyrified™—verified that she got Beyfortus—a layer ofprotection against serious RSV lung infection. Beyfortus helps prevent a serious lung disease caused by RSV for babies under 1 year of age during their first RSV season, and certain kidsup to 24 months. Your child should not take Beyfortus if your child has a history of serious allergic reactions to nirsevimab-alip or any of the ingredients in Beyfortus. Please see additional Important Safety Information in this video. While you can’t plan for everything, you can prepare by talking to your baby’s doctor and visiting Beyfortus.com for more information. Please find link to full Prescribing Information including Patient Information at @beyfortus_nirsevimab_alip For US audiences only.
