Megha Gupta Instagram – Kyrgyzstan- servin’ it hot in the cold cold weather.
1- sauna session in -25 left me red faced and very happy
2- staying in local fully glammed up yurts in -25, heated in every way.
3- I ate horse meat and drank horse milk. A first. Horse energy is very sacred to me. I remember watching them gallop in Mahalakshmi race course at 5 am when we used to go for our marathon practice in the coldish Jan mornings in Bby. Their muscle glistening with each move. Eating horse in Kyrgyzstan is a sign of worshipping them and a way of honouring their service to us.
4- enjoyed a meal with the locals and ate local dishes
5- We as a group were so good. Missing all of them. Each brought in a unique energy to the mix.
6- horse games were so gripping!
7- the girls made me a necklace of beads. Now my sacred jewellery, my first good luck piece.
8- the beasts we drove, that kept us safe and warm.
9- sunset felt like fire and ice on the cruise
10- driving the Toyota Sequoia and just look at the terrain 🤌🏻
