Kyrgyzstan- servin’ it hot in the cold cold weather. 1- sauna session in -25 left me red faced and very happy 2- staying in local fully glammed up yurts in -25, heated in every way. 3- I ate horse meat and drank horse milk. A first. Horse energy is very sacred to me. I remember watching them gallop in Mahalakshmi race course at 5 am when we used to go for our marathon practice in the coldish Jan mornings in Bby. Their muscle glistening with each move. Eating horse in Kyrgyzstan is a sign of worshipping them and a way of honouring their service to us. 4- enjoyed a meal with the locals and ate local dishes 5- We as a group were so good. Missing all of them. Each brought in a unique energy to the mix. 6- horse games were so gripping! 7- the girls made me a necklace of beads. Now my sacred jewellery, my first good luck piece. 8- the beasts we drove, that kept us safe and warm. 9- sunset felt like fire and ice on the cruise 10- driving the Toyota Sequoia and just look at the terrain 🤌🏻 @beyond_xpeditions you were beyond amazing 🌸🧚 Here’s to more adventure always. I’ve finally made my way back to working out and I’m so glad to be reminded of how good it feels. Can’t complain about the work that wasn’t done. I did not workout for a good 6 months. I’ve no excuse. I let life take over, and honestly that felt great. To not follow a routine as a person of routine. To go to a regular gym and do 2 body parts is so hard for me. But with the amount of travel i go through, I’ve decided to follow workouts from an app and do it where ever i am. To be able to do that, I’ve to do this. I know I don’t know. I’ve always had the most amazing personal coaches and i would play banging music (sometimes tracks on repeat and God bless their poor souls to go through it) and just focus on my mind muscle connection, keeping my ears open for their input for form. I’m breaking away from there. New behaviour unlocked. While you may compare your timeline with others, i work on bettering myself in my timeline. P. Okay but have you smashed it with a snow mobile in -20 in Kyrgyzstan? Then let’s not. There was something about surrendering to that moment. It was cold, quiet, edgy, sensual even. Like some tension between the snow mobile and myself till we understood each other. Only those who handle beasts will know what i mean. Then i took speed. I went for it. I knew it would keep me safe. Ohh. What. A. Ride. Pro’lly the highlight for me for this trip. I’m quite respectful of other peoples’ time but here, @beyond_xpeditions had to call me back, reign me in. I didn’t want to separate from this baby. It’s not easy, riding this beast. It’s not tough either. Every small bump feels like you will topple over. You have to know in your mind that you’re opening yourself up for it. Then you get over the fear of falling. It depends on you. Are you completely unafraid of intensity?
