“The sad thing about society giving us humans, especially women, a narrow corridor of time, a bookended of minutes, to succeed is that when we feel close to the age number where the gig “should” be up, we let it all go. We stop taking risks, stop chasing dreams, and stop having new desires — all for fear of being “too old.” For fear of having too many responsibilities, making it feel selfish to dare take a chance.”
