You guys, this is Cali 🙂 She was surrendered to a city shelter in California by her owner with a degloving injury, (when the skin is separated from the jaw bone) and was listed as an at risk pup. When my wonderful friend @kingaphilipps told us about her, Jesse and I knew right away we were adopting her. Problem was, we weren’t in California, couldn’t get back for a few days and this girl needed help right away. Kinga introduced us to Janay from @ashtreeranchrescue and she was incredible! She arranged for Cali to be picked up from the shelter and taken to a veterinary hospital for surgery. Then she took care of her for us until we could get back to California.
