Rhian Sugden Instagram – Having a baby basically means you permanently stick yourself at the bottom of the pile. Everyone else’s needs come first, the little monkey, the dog, the business, the emails, the random life admin you forgot existed. Meanwhile you’re just hoping for one uninterrupted wee and hot cup of tea.
BUT this week… I actually did it. Packed us up, escaped as a family, and I’m currently sunbathing alone like some sort of mythical creature 🦄. I’m sat here writing, thinking my own thoughts for once, enjoying the quiet… and guess what? Baby is still alive, nothing’s on fire, and I’m feeling mildly restored☀️✨
So if you’ve been delaying something because life keeps lifing, go on, give yourself the day off.
The chaos will patiently wait its turn and my GOD it’s hard when it does.
