Dhanush has become the first actor to have 3 film franchises with sequels in his filmography.
It started with VIP 2 for Dhanush for which he scripted the movie while Soundarya Rajinikanth is said to direct the film. Earlier it was reported that director Balaji Mohan was getting a script ready for Maari 2. The sequel for Maari is likely to happen in the near future said the sources close to the director and the actor.
Sources close to the actor Dhanush have confirmed that the actor has agreed to do a sequel to the movie Kodi which was released this Diwali. Kodi was directed by director R.S.Durai Senthilkumar who has directed Ethir Neechal and Kaaki Sattai earlier.
If Kodi 2 and Maari 2 becomes real, Dhanush would become the first actor to have 3 film franchises with sequels to his name.
