Vijay Antony after his last outing Yaman has agreed to work in Annadurai, a film produced by Raadhika Sarathkumar under her banner RADAAN Media works. Due to some problems the team has announced that the movie would be shelved for now. Touted to be a commercial entertainer, Annadurai was to have Vijay Antony in a dual role for the first time. He was to play a common man.
Now sources close to the actor reveal that Vijay Antony is now all set to start shooting for Kaali with Krithika Udhayanidhi. Krithika Udhayanidhi who was impressed with the ways of Vijay Antony choosing the scripts narrated a unique script to the actor. Mightily impressed with the script, Vijay Antony himself came forward to produce the movie under his banner Vijay Antony Film Corporation. Vijay Antony agreed to compose music for the movie too.
Sources close to the crew reveal that the team is currently in a hunt for the female lead of the movie. Talking about Vijay Antony, Krithika revealed that “Unlike other actors, Vijay Antony is all ears for any story that is non-conventional. I first approached him when he was shooting for Saithan and Yaman simultaneously. He agreed to meet once he is done with the commitments for both the movies. When I met three months after that, I narrated a crime thriller. He agreed to work together to see what comes out. Then I narrated the script of Kaali which I consider as something close to my heart. He readily agreed to act and produce the same. The shoot for the movie is likely to start from May and the hunt for the other artists in the movie are currently on”
