Udhayanidhi Stalin whose recent release Saravanan Irukka Bayamen is having a good run at the box office, the actor wraps up shoot of his next with director Gaurav. Gaurav is known for his debut venture Sigaram Thodu that had Vikram Prabhu in the lead. The heist thriller was much appreciated, for its appeal to family audiences.
Gaurav is back with Ippadai Vellum, which has Udhayanidhi and Manjima in the lead. While the team has not concluded on the title of the project, “Ippadai Vellum” is a working title. The director nor the team have not revealed anything about the movie or its genre. The movie also has producer R.K.Suresh and Soori who has already shared screen with Udhayanidhi in the recently released Saravanan Irukka Bayamen.
Manjima Mohan who debuted with Gautham Menon’s AYM is all praise for the director and the actor. The actress says that the director is all energetic and he will not interfere with your acting unless you cross your line. She also says that the director will always be worried about technical aspects of the movie.
Talking about the lead actor Udhayanidhi stalin, Manjima says that he is the most caring person she has ever met. She also added that Udhayanidhi would be the go to person for her in the sets, if she comes up with any problem at all.
The team which was into production for quite some time has already started dubbing for the movie. The post production of the movie will start in some time but the crew have not yet revealed their release plans so far.
This is the ninth production for Lyca Production house who are also handling the prestigious 2.0 starring Rajinikanth.
