Vishnu Vishal’s next movie with director Ramkumar of Mundasupatti fame has got a change of name. Touted to be a psychological thriller the flick was titled ‘Minmini’ earlier, in search of more fierce title the makers have now renamed the movie as ‘Ratchasan’. Amala Paul who has got a number of films up in her kitty is doing the female lead in this movie.
Vishnu Vishal is playing an aggressive cop in this thriller while Amala Paul is said to don the role of a teacher. Ramadoss who is known for his character as Munishkanth from Mundasupatti will be doing a supporting role in the movie along with Kaali Venkat, Suzane George and Sanjay. PV Sankar is cranking the camera for the movie.
Gibran has signed to compose tunes for the film and the cuts are being taken care by Sankolesh. The project is being funded by Dillibaabu and Sridhar under the banner Axes Film Factory.
Vishnuvishal’s another venture titled ‘Kathanayagan’ has been recently postponed by the actor turned producer. 23rd of June was locked as the release date by the makers but later Vishnu withdrew stating that there were quite a number of movies lined up for release on that date and hence he decided to shift his release to a different date.
Kathanayagan with Vishnu, Catherine Teresa and Soori is Vishnu Vishal’s second venture as a producer, the first one being ‘Velainu Vandhuta Vellaikaaran’ by Ezhil. His debut production venture was all successful which gave him more confidence in producing his other promising ventures.
