Sivakarthikeyan kick starts his next with director Ponram with a formal pooja today under the production of 24 AM Studios. Sivakarthikeyan is teaming up with Samantha for the first time in his filmography. After the continuous hits of ‘Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam’ and ‘Rajinimurugan’ the director actor duo has got together for the third time.
The promising team has signed up Soori, Napolean, Simran, Lal, Rajendran, Manobala and Yogibabu for important supporting roles. The technical team for the movie includes Balasubramaniam for cranking the camera and Vivek Harshan for editing. Yuga Bharathi has been signed to pen the lyrics for the songs while D.Imman is composing tunes for the songs.
It is learnt that Imman has already finished composing three songs for the movie. Kamala Kannan has been signed to take care of graphics, Anal Arasu is taking care of Stunt Choreography, Muthuraj is taking care of Art department and Anu Parthasarathy will be designing costumes for the movie.
The crew have planned to shoot for 30 days in the locals of Tenkasi and Kerala borders. Director Ponram is known for highlighting lush green locations in his movies. VVS and Rajinimurugan were entirely rural subjects. This movie is touted to be a rural subject too with more importance over humour elements in the movie.
Sivakarthikeyan is said to have signed up a movie with director Ravikumar of ‘Indru Netru Naalai’ fame. Sivakarthikeyan will also be doing a movie under Siruthai Siva’s direction under Studio Green Productions banner.
