Atharvaa who is currently awaiting the release of the action thriller ‘Imaikaa Nodigal’ has signed another action movie to be directed by Sam Anton. Sam Anton is known for his debut movie ‘Darling’ which stuck quite a chord upon its release. He followed up the debut with another comedy flick ‘Enaku Innoru Peru Irukku’ with G.V.Prakash and Anandhi in the lead.
The director who directed two comedy genres back to back is feared of being stereotyped in the industry. Hence he decided to direct a cop thriller which will have Atharvaa in the lead. While the lead female character in the movie is not yet decided, the director has already narrowed down on Yogi Babu to take care of the comedy track.
Michael Rayappan will be funding the flick under his Global Infotainment banner. Michael Rayappan is also the producer of Atharvaa starrer Eetti. The producer who is currently producing ‘AAA-1D’ with STR in the lead and ‘Kee’ with Jiiva and Nikki Galrani in the lead.
Atharvaa who is not new to action genre will be essaying the role of a cop for the first time in his career. The director says that the movie will be a blend of all the commercial elements expected out of a commercial outing. He also says that it took six months for the director to narrow down on the script and he is currently working on the dialogues for the movie.
