Dulquer Salmaan has signed another bilingual movie, this time with debutant Ra.Karthik. Produced by Kenanya Films who earlier produced ‘Oru Naal Koothu’, the movie will have music by Dheena Dhayalan. Dulquer has become the most sought after star in Tamil after his romantic outing O Kadhal Kanmani with ace director Mani Ratnam.
Dulquer debuted with Vaayai Moodi Pesavum under director M.Balaji and later in O Kadhal Kanmani. After his stint with OKK he is all set to enact the role of star Gemini Ganesan in actress Savithri’s biopic, that is being made in Tamil and Telugu. While the Telugu version is titled ‘Mahanadhi’, the Tamil version still hasn’t got a name. He has also got Solo in his kitty.
His upcoming anthology film ‘Solo’ with director Bejoy Nambiar is also a bilingual film. Dulquer is expected to play five different characters in the movie and five heroines were also signed for the movie which is currently in its post-production stage.
National award winning editor Sreekar Prasad is said to take care of the cuts for the film with Ra. Karthik. If the sources close to the movie circle are to be believed the team is planning to rope in four heroines for this movie to pair up with Dulquer.
George C. Williams who rose to fame with Raja Rani and Theri has been signed to crank the camera for the movie.
Apart from Solo and the movie with Karthik, Dulquer has also signed a movie with director Srinath Rajendar with whom he debuted in the Malayalam Cine Industry.
