This store makes the whole ‘Phadke haud’ chowk smell like Roses, Chandan and other amazing scents. On way to my Nani’s old house in Kasba Peth (where my mother was raised) when we crossed this chowk, Mom would roll down the window take a deep breath to take in the scent – and would tell me her childhood memory of that place.
