Before we had the luxury of Shopping Malls – Birthday shopping at Pinakin – Diwali at Chitale – Wedding shopping at Sharmili & School essentials at Ramesh Dyeing. All the major events in the year brought us to Laxmi road/ Bajirao road or “City” Where you’d see all the ladies at their highest level of excitement, children mostly whining because the shopping just wouldn’t end and the men pacing outside the store running out of patience. The shopping would be followed with a meal at Agathya which made all happy as finally everyone got a place to SIT! After the food, the thought of walking back to the scooter would be quite painful for the kids and so the Kaware Ice cream was just the right distraction on way and the perfect dessert.
