When I first started reading her book I was drawn in – it was like she was chatting with me. And sadness is the precondition to a tender heart “ She journeys through many lands, many roles. Highlights her time as a model and then in Bollywood. How she chanced upon the love of her life and how her mother’s illness changed her. How it metamorphosed her relationship with her own father . She also details her own unique illness and how she dealt with it- brave brave woman ! Lisa is brutally honest about facts about her eating disorder and the obsession to be skinny. I admire her sharing this and do hope it will inspire many others to be comfortable in their own skin.
