Merry Christmas 🎄 #throwback #snow #winter #holiday #festivemood #wishes #xmas #christmas When my 12th grade girl gang came back into one frame after 7 years. We were always tagged the most problematic back then 😁 We made our parent’s life happening by giving them chance to visit our school very frequently. But we were the best. The most purified form of friendship. Shazia , who never gave a damn about anything, blunt , real , the best . Aswathy who is never judgmental about anyone, who can accept anyone in the way they are . Nikitha , the newlywed what do I say about you 😁 Dhanusree the “paavam” girl . Those day’s when we discussed about our futures , I didn’t have any plans , not in the wildest of wildest dreams to become an actor. But so much grateful now that I became one. I am in love with it . The destiny had the most amazing well written script for my life . Not just for me , but for all my girls too , life turned out to be the best. A picture clicked by Shazia’s husband, I repeat ” Shazia’s husband “. The kickass couple and their one year old boy are family goals. Niki, you too have an amazing life ahead with your guy 😊 Aswathy Nd Dhanu , I am waiting to see who will be the next 😁 Don’t ask this question back to me , I have no such plans for it in the near future. No no. I love what we were and what we are now . #touchwood Some ocassions merit special attention. Away from your ownself. I had the opportunity to address a gathering of Cancer survivors. ‘Fighters’ would be more apt than survivors. Some women , introduced themselves to me , mentioning they survived it three times , two times. The strength I saw in their eyes was immense . Strength which is permanently embedded in their eyes. Once they cross that fine line, the days of treatment, the days they fight against it , all they need is emotional support and a loving world. Some of them were worried about losing their hair , losing their charm…. We have to tell them, it doesn’t matter. Your determination to fight makes you charming. The strength you show makes you beautiful. Is that worry also because of the judgmental world ? Do we need to judge someone? No . No matter what. How they are , how they look doesn’t matter. What’s important is how happily we live our life , how much happiness we spread around us , how much acceptance we show . Live and let live !! All my wishes to those strong people I met . Also to Paripoorna , a centre for comprehensive women’s healthcare . Every sari tells a story. Of the vast beauty of this country and its rich heritage. The sari narrates many tales. Of the region where it’s made. Of the people who make it. Of the stories that inspire them to make it. Of the rituals and traditions its associated with it. The sheer elegance of the six yards transcends many journey from the maker to the wearer. Every girl during the growing up years have taken a piece of fabric and draped it as a sari as part of many dress up acts. I too have. Watching my grandmother and mother picking out their fine sarees, the lustrous kanjivarams to the crispy cottons, and dressing up for the festivals, religious outings to the umpteen weddings, every celebratory ocassion deemed they dressed in their finest. Mahashivaratri . It’s been few days since I had been travelling. Unplanned journey , as always. One of the best synchronised moment I had in my life . I could be at Tunganath , World’s highest Shiva Temple on the Mahashivaratri day. It started snowing heavily on 21st morning , temperature was dropping down steadily . As I was heading up I could see people going down the trail without completing the trek and warning me “mausam kharaab hai ” . Giving up is not my thing and so strong was my Tapasya , very very strong enough to fulfill my wish . The first sight of the destination gave me tears. It wasn’t an adventure . But a pure desire . To travel, to seek , to evolve . Thanks to my trek leader , who was with me in this amazing journey and for clicking these frozen memories even in that bad weather .
