How 19th May became the best day of our lives!
I proposed to my girlfriend Sunita and asked her to be my wife… our wedding had been delayed a lot because I wanted to be sure that I could take care of her in the way she deserved and give her everything she could ever dream of…in the very least, I needed to be able to afford to buy a house and hire a cook!! I just wanted to be worthy of her…
We got married on 19th May, against all odds….I still remember when I entered her house on our wedding day and saw my bride, she was smiling and I had tears in my eyes… Tears of happiness, but also nervousness… I mean it was my wedding day! Our wedding was planned and executed within a day, and yes we may not have had a big wedding or even a honeymoon, which she still teases me about, but it was still the best thing that ever happened to me….it was now or never for us and I’m so glad we took the leap that day and started our lives together… many people prophesied that marrying so early would be disastrous for my career, but all I knew was that I did not want to waste another day without her and wanted her by my side through it all… for us it was never career or love.. it was always love AND career…
I won’t say in the end we lived happily ever after…because it is not even close to the end of our love story… we still have a lot of love to share together, forever….
Happy Anniversary to the love of my life, my wife Sunita…

These pictures bring back so many memories! There was something about his smile that would instantly make everyone around him smile… One of the many things I’ll always remember about Irrfan….
To a daughter like no other, the perfect partner to @anandahuja, a star on screen and an icon with an unimitable style. She’s my confidant, my joy, my pride, the most generous hearted soul I know, (the only person I am shit scared of) & now a bona fide master chef! Happy Birthday, @sonamkapoor! I’m so happy that you’re here with all of us today!
Love You, Always!
Maybe I am texting or maybe I am flexing…any guesses 😜
Remembering James….
Sharing the launch of Sonam and Ranbir’s careers with Neetu and Rishi is one of the happiest memories of my life…
And the winner is…. Me (Obviously)!

Some mornings are tougher than others. Some days I would rather hide another hour under the covers . But my work out, my fitness regime will still be waiting when I do roll back the covers. That’s why our mind plays such an important part in any health drive. The long-term solution to fighting microbes like Covid-19 is not complete isolation or endless disinfecting, but building immunity of the body and mind to fight any such external aggravators, because this is not the first or the last one…Our mind is the one part of the body we have to work the hardest on, and yet the results of this hard work may not always be manifest to others. There is no mind bicep to flex no brain six pack to show off . But mind is what will make the difference to a successful health kick. Every day, the first thing I flex is the power of my mind to get up get rolling , move beyond what obstacles it has placed in my way , remove what clouds of doubt have come over me . If you think you can, you will. If you think you can’t, you won’t. Either way, you will prove yourself right . So embrace the mind and start your day by first flexing your will power and your resolve.

Got so involved in my work today as usual as I always look forward and not at the past .. but still, there are some milestones in your life you should not forget…#37YearsOfWoh7Din, 37 years of being a star actor, always been tradeable, accessible, working and making choices… good…bad…great…sometimes even if they might not have seemed right at the time but have always stood the test of time. Started as an actor, become a star…super star according to the trade….then a flop star…rose as a star again…international star…supporting actor….evergreen star and the list goes on… labels never really mattered to me nor did I ever take them seriously…I have always been aware of my talent & caliber…just wanted to feed my love and hunger for work…37 years later it’s still the same and hopefully by the grace of almighty will continue to remain the same….A Big Thank You to all my fans, filmmakers, co-actors & crews that I have worked with…. and of course my family for being my backbone….
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

It’s not all about being locked in the dungeon of my gym, hitting reps after reps day after day . We must take time to let the body rest. When we hit weights we create stress on the body on the muscles from that forced stress the muscle rebuilds itself making it stronger.
Rest days are important that’s why I take one whole day off. A day when I relax and enjoy the fruits of a disciplined weekOn that day I do all the important things that help me unwind ….
During this process my body and mind can unwind . In this relaxed state I know I am being kind to my body and my body will be ready for the following 6 days of training .
I take a more relaxed approach to my meals . A little more generous with portion size or may be a little treat thrown in.
I was never into weightlifting nor did I take rest days so seriously….but this lockdown has definitely been a learning curve for me in many ways and this is one of them
For we can not forget a training plan is long term and the body needs its reward. I let my body take it easy because I know from the next day I am gonna make it work like crazy till the next rest day comes round…it’s a perfect balance of faith…patience and perseverance… #stayhomestaymotivated

May you be blessed with all the love & happiness, just as we feel blessed to have you in our lives! Happy 2nd Anniversary @anandahuja & @sonamkapoor! To many more phenomenal years together!
Dad was humble, shy, loyal with a lot of self respect, extremely handsome and always towering over us, making sure we did the right thing!
These are some of my favourite pictures of him… His felicitation by the late Yash Chopra was a memorable event for everyone in the family…Look at Long John with his group of friends! Missing him a little extra today…He was and always will be my greatest inspiration… Happy Father’s Day Papa!

Mr India was & always will be a very important film for me. I remember even 34 years ago when we began the journey I became obsessed with every detail. From the time I heard the tune of ‘Zindagi Ki Yahi Reet Hai’ I could only imagine Kishore Da’s voice singing it. At the time, Kishore Kumar & Laxmikant Pyarelal did not want to work together. It took months to even get in touch with Kishore da. When I finally did, I went to Kishore Kumar’s residence & mediated their patch up…the end result was this beautiful melody which is so uplifting during these tough times. Today is 33 years since the release of Mr India and it’s message is still as important, if not more so. Be kind to each other, do the right thing; life may get tough, but in the end, good will prevail. ‘Zindagi Ki Yehi Reet Hai
Haar Ke Baad Hi Jeet Hai
Thode Aansu Hai, Thodi Hasi
Aaj Gham Hai To Kal Hai Khushi’
With her grace & artistry, Saroj ji found a place in all our hearts that noone has ever been able to take… she made the most beautiful dance compositions and turned many non-dancers into dancers. I was fortunate enough to work with her in many films and got to learn a lot from her. She brought out the dancer in me that I didn’t even know was there! Her movements were magic & her face could express so many beautiful emotions… there’s no one like her… Saroj ji has left her mark and will be remembered forever…
I will miss her a lot…Love You Saroj ji…Thank You for everything
Huge shout out to all of you, for your generosity!
