In school I remember COUNTLESS times being asked, where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10? Etc, etc. Culturally or just society in general gives us these timelines for things that if you let them (and I once did!) they can really f*<k with how you perceive your life and “how it’s going”. Everyone who knows me knows I enthusiastically enjoy scratching something off my ‘To Do’ list. I thrive on “plans” and (seemingly) knowing what’s to come. A whole lotta different things have contributed to that personality trait and I am successfully doing a whole lotta different things to let a lot of that shit go! I still enjoy a good planner 😅 annnd I mean, work in progress with the rest BUT I did just buy a plane ticket somewhere without knowing where I’m staying and what’s happening once I’m there sooo the work is werrrking! 😂 .
