My documentaries were a subject on a resent episode of Mastermind. I couldn’t resist having a go. Huge respect to the real life contestant Laura Ellerton for her amazing knowledge – and a free copy of #TherouxTheKeyhole is on its way!
Took me about 200 pages to get into this but I fell in love with the characters by the end and the beauty of the sentences and the perceptiveness about life. Makes an interesting counterpoint to The Sun Also Rises – and also Brideshead Revisited come to think of it.
Based on typeface alone I’m guessing that “Japp” is Norwegian for “Mars”. Let’s find out shall we?
