So next time you’re cooking for a backyard bbq, game night or family dinner, make sure to give this recipe a-go! This is one of my favorite #RefreshingRecipes that goes hand in hand with summer in a can #SierraMist
Sierra Mist BBQ short ribs (serves 2)
6 bone in short ribs
2 Tbsp mustard
1/4 cup dry rub (see highlights for recipe)
1/2 cup apple juice
Lightly coat each short rib with mustard.
Sprinkle a generous amount of dry rub on each short rib coating each piece entirely.
Place bone side down on a sheet pan.
Pour apple juice on to the sheet pan (apple juice is used as a steaming liquid).
Cover with parchment and foil.
Place in a preheated oven at 375 for 45 minutes.
Remove after 45 minutes and uncover then place back in the oven (center rack) for 1 hour and 30 minutes.Remove from oven and coat each piece with bbq sauce.
Place back in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until sauce is sticky and caramelized
Remove from oven
Enjoy with a refreshing can of Sierra Mist!
