Christy Turlington Instagram – Happy Birthday, to my “Steady Eddie.” Winter snow storms spent with you take me back. From pub crawls in the village dating back 22 years, to our first engagement in Lake Tahoe, Finn’s birth day, winter walking tours through lower Manhattan, and countless ones since. I love weathering all the storms, big and small, with you. So proud of you and excited for the next season of #bridgeandtunnel! May this year be your best yet! ❤️

I met Andre Leon Talley early on in my career as a young model. I can’t say we were ever very close but he was always polite and positive energy to be around. There were so many big personalities in the industry in those days. He was certainly one of the biggest. You couldn’t not notice him enter a room. The booming voice. The gesticulating hands. The wardrobe alone. Every outfit was a statement. Each choice carefully constructed. I took this Polaroid in 1990 at a dinner party at Karl Lagerfeld’s house in Paris. It was as intimate as an evening could be and everyone let their guards down to just relax and be silly together in the midst of Paris Fashion Week. Those were the best nights because they were pretty rare. And this is how I will remember you, Andre.
