Since Amanda doesn’t have social media, I get that you guys don’t have a good understanding about what she’s like as a person…so imma give you the low-down. She’s wonderfully honest, open, loving, GORGEOUS, really f’ing funny, an effortlessly badass actor (can I get an amen to this please), a fantastic mama to three gorgeous kids, a great listener, an even better advice giver and a really supportive friend. There are many more positive things I could say, but I’m parked in front of Target and don’t have time to make this as long as it should be. Amanda’s birthday was a few days ago, if you’d like to type a message below for her I will take some screen shots and text them to her. ☺️ ps. She’s a fierce little female with a mind of her own. She’s silly, but also extremely smart. She’s a great listener and will always ask her dad or me “How are you doing?” when she’s on the phone with one of us (if you’ve ever spoken on the phone with a kid her age then you know that’s rare). She truly cares about how the people she loves are feeling. Like, deeply cares. She’s an animal lover and I’m convinced every single one she comes into contact with can sense it. It’s like they’re drawn to her. She loves playing with makeup and building Lego sets. She will choose to wear a dress instead of jeans (every single time), but she will balance it out and wear dresses with converse or combat boots. There is so much more to her than all of this and I love that as the years go by I get to watch her personality continue to grow – even though I can feel it going by too fast (8 ALREADY?!). I love her more than life. I’m so proud to be her mom. 🥰 Her birthday was yesterday and we were so busy celebrating with her that I didn’t have a chance to post a birthday pic. This one was my favorite. ♥️ I love you, Harper Rose.

I’ve been working on wall hangings (for my new place) the last few days and I had collected a pile of yarn scraps on the floor. HAD being the key word in that last sentence. I love how this girl knows how to find joy in anything. Her spirit is goals. ♥️ (I can’t believe she is turning 8 tomorrow!)

Harper LOVES having a “game night”. Her absolute favorite game is Rat-a-tat Cat (it’s a card game that requires strategy – she’s absurdly good at it. It fills me with pride and drives me nuts). I just picked up Sleeping Queens at the mall yesterday, both games are by @gamewright. Brandon and I played Sleeping Queens with Harps tonight and it was so-much-fun. For reals. We were screaming and laughing. If you have kiddos around Harper’s age, you might want to give these a whirl. I like games that are enjoyable for kids AND adults (even if the kid beats me every time). ☺️ #coparenting
My Library Wrap is done and just needs fringe 🙌🏼 (Honestly, fringe is my favorite part of any project.) this pattern is so much fun to crochet. I am loving these new pink #Lykke knitting needles – I already have several projects going on them. Typically, I don’t go for wood needles – but these are really smooth and feel great in my hands. 🙌🏼 (*this is not an ad*) Also, @lionbrandyarn’s Heartland yarn has found its way into several of the sweaters I’ve cast on recently. It’s so soft. The colors are so pretty. 😍 I can’t resist it.
