I guess a big #supernatural day was yesterday. Missed it (so bad at social media these days) but this picture came up on my phone today. I’d forgotten about it. What I do remember is we were laughing and happy. There were a lot of days like that. #spnfamily 🤟
Never imagined I would spend the better part of 2021 helping craft the story of Maya Lopez (who we will meet in @hawkeyeofficial) but here we are! Thanks to @marvel for believing in me as a writer, our head writer @mariondayre for her kickass leadership and to my absolutely lovely fellow writers @rebeccaroanhorse @bobbydues @stevenpauljudd @itsjoshfeldman @jason.gavin @kenkristensen who I woke up excited to see everyday.
I was having a day today. Then I went outside with my daughter and my neighbor told me that she’s now five weeks into an American Sign Language course. I was all like oh cool what made you learn? And she said “you.” That made me smile. Really smile. Of course I didn’t take a picture of it because I never do so using an old one but. What’s the last thing that made YOU smile?
Learned so much from doing #Jericho. Met so many wonderful people. I find it incredible how even now people are getting into it, whether it’s again or for the first time! It’s unfortunately leaving @netflix August 15 so let’s enjoy it (and all things) while they are still here. 🙏

Yesterday at the @mediaaccessawards I had the distinct privilege of presenting @themarleematlin with the Norman Lear-Geri Jewell Lifetime Achievement Award (which I’ll probably be presenting to her again a few years from now at the rate she is going.) When I was 15 my mom drove me to Sacramento to see a play by @deafwest called Orphans. @troykotsur was in it and I was beyond inspired. I was transfixed. After the show I was nervous as hell but I told him I wanted to be an actor someday too. He was amazingly open and welcoming to me and he’s remained that way over the years as we’ve worked together in different ways (the one pictured is thanks to @themarleematlin!) I’m so thrilled for him for his Best Supporting Actor nomination and for all my friends involved in CODA (as well as Audible!) Let’s keep reaching out and moving forward together.
