Flash climbing!?
So I’m back in margalef and the sky’s are still a bit rainy and sad :/
I’ve never really tried to onsight or flash anything, like ever.🤨 to be honest I sometimes find it stressful and less enjoyable.🤔😵💫 One of my favourite parts of climbing is how relaxing the process of problem solving is, 🧘♀️☀️🪨so I never really cared to give flash or onsight climbing a real go. My hardest flash grade was 8a, which is awesome But I always felt like I could flash harder if I really tried.. today I gave it a bit more of a crack!🔥if I’m honest on my feelings about flash climbing it was still ‘meh’ .. 😂 I know it sounds bad!! but I just really enjoy working a climb and finding sequences over time. BUT , I’m psyched! one thing I got out of it was that this has shown me that I’m in pretty good shape and that’s really really motivating for my project…
So what’s your thoughts ? Love flash/onsight climbing 😃or not a fan?💩

Most of you who know me, know I have a deep love for animals. I’m the first one to pick up a sick, injured animal whenever I see one and with my own dog being from the streets, this story was hard to hear.
@animalloverescue center in Costa Rica is a non-profit no-kill charitable shelter that takes care of over 1200 animals including
Dogs, cats , sheep, goats, geese, ducks and horses.
Most of these animals come into the shelter after having been neglected, paralysed , mistreated, wounded or abandoned.
The rescue centre was funded by their hotel “Lands in love”, which stopped receiving guests in the middle of March 2020 due to covid.
as a result, leaving very little funding, devastating the shelter and placing these animals in massive risk of starvation and eventually leading to re-abandonment.
To make matters even worse, for the past month the shelter has had to continue abandon animals as their shelter is overflowing, forcing the shelter to place and tend to their animals in the toilet, offices and garages due to the lack of space. This shelter is under immense pressure and there just isn’t enough recourse with the lack of money. I don’t normally do these things but this felt really personal,

Pushing through the bad days creates more Space for the good days. I often climb without much thought in my movement, it’s kind of my style and it’s hard to change. I have a bit of a “push through” mindset. I noticed through the last week that With every attempt I was using different feet, resting wherever and sometimes even skipping or adding holds. Its obvious that this is because I’m not really putting much thought into the movement and I’m really just climbing rather then creating memory and efficiency.. it took me time to realise that this is like trying to climb 3 different 9a’s rather then 1. 😂 back to the basics , Laps + creating body memory..😃🌻

2 days ago I ran via the app in the wings for life world run! Every year the @redbull team join together with thousands of people and the @wflworldrun foundation from all around the world to run and raise money for spinal cord injury research! Although I’m an absolute horrible runner (with horrible hip problems😂) I tried my best and to my surprise I really enjoyed running and listening through the app along with the other runners. Yes I only did 5k but hey, not bad for a rock climber in this heat maybe ?😂 🤷🏻♀️ next year I’ll try 10k!

You’ll always remember the first jacket You get from @thenorthface_aunz, I know I do, and I also remember when I got my little nephew his first Jacket to create his own memories in. Mine was black with a little pink zipper, it completely changed my idea of the power of quality, durability and real warmth when you can’t escape the cold. When you think about it, it changes your life.
My jacket has held countless little animals and countless memories. Not to mention the amount of times it’s saved my butt from the cold rocks at the crag. Who else does that 🙋🏻♀️ #morethenajacket
