Today and EVERYDAY, I am grateful to all the amazing people I have in my life who have shown me what love is: compassionate, patient, non judgmental, tough, honest, silly, resilient, beautiful. I love you. And today and EVERYDAY I choose to love myself better. I am so proud of myself for consistently going to therapy, learning to listen to my gut, advocating for myself, consistently training in wushu, acting, writing, dancing, and choosing to spend my time nurturing my mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual strength. I’m a perfectly imperfect work in progress. So today, whether you’re single or plural or everything in between, please remember a significant other isn’t the only source of love (I know scrolling through social media might make you feel a certain way). So this is just a little reminder that no matter what your life situation is, you are loved. And love yourself 🙂

Night time freestyle session. As an actor and dancer, I’m working on allowing myself to be fully vulnerable and expose a true private moment, as opposed to “performing” knowing someone is watching. I’m letting my body move how it wants to, instead of dictating with the mind. Apparently, my body wanted a dance partner tonight. Hence the invisible duet 💃🏽 #shutupanddance #karencici
