Rain Dove Dubilewski Instagram – It’s my Birthday! And I’ve been thinking a lot about You- and Us! You may have noticed that over the past couple years- I’ve not posted very often. Partially because I’ve been on a journey, trying to figure out the best way to fully realize what I was born to do. Partially because I genuinely never thought I’d live this long. It’s been a wild day processing that I’ve even survived to this point. Survived society, survived fate, and survived myself. I’ve held back posting often because so many beings seem like Saints on this platform- and many people seem to be seeking that Sainthood for themselves. The truth is- my path to where I am has been a bumpy ride and I’ve faltered, stumbled, made mistakes and poor choices at times. I’ve never really been a pure person, because I’ve done a lot of things to survive that aren’t easy to talk about. While I’ve always tried to be a person of service- I’ve not always felt worthy of receiving help myself. However, the past couple years I’ve dedicated it to volunteering on everything from cleaning up after the Australian wildfires to organizing protests with Justice for Black Lives to delivering medication to shielding people during COVID. What was my place in the world and what was the corner I was meant to pick up? And it finally dawned on me. This space over the next year will be dedicated to being a space for anyone else trying to grow too- anyone who has faltered, stumbled or just needs to rest. Anyone trying to be better today than they were tomorrow. Anyone who believes that love is worth more than money. Anyone who has been abandoned or homeless in any sort of way. Anyone who enjoys, conflict resolution, fashion, film and activism. I’m not going to hide quietly anymore. I’ll be posting 3 days a week, highlighting the world, joy, and even showing l bts stuff of everyday life. (Something I also hid- because I felt it wasn’t important to post).
