Doing this show has made me appreciate and understand the incredibly beautiful gift of female (and male) friendship, especially as we…mature as women. Those who come alongside us. Cry with us. Laugh with us. Celebrate our victories. Help us through the losses/lessons. Hold us up when we can’t find our footing. Hold us down and back when we’re getting ready to do something that will set us back.
Hold us accountable.
And hold our secrets like a sealed drum when we pour them out.

Once upon a time…
A girl who was a witch, met a girl who was a baker’s wife, and the two girls formed an admiration for each other that the witch will always cherish. The witch thinks the Baker’s wife is so talented, so very amazing, the sweetest of women, and the witch will continue to cheer for her from the wings, from her seat in the audience, and beyond. She may even allow the baker’s wife to steal her greens and any beans she may ever want! And that’s saying a lot 😄!

‘Thinking up an appropriate punishment for our #son who vehemently said that he had a school group meeting today at 7am. So, I woke up before dawn, and got myself and everything ready so he’d be able to go out the door in time, only to get to the locked school and find out…
the meeting is next week.

There are times when child labor is perfectly fine…mostly at our house…with our kids…Especially when we have to drive these young people around, with these gas prices…the least they can do is wash the car. they still charged us $5 for the work, even though I explained all that 😃!
