Being a mother has changed my world. My babies are everything to me. I’ve been taking my time to enjoy every moment. I’m feeling content, exhausted, overwhelmed, grateful, tired, joyful, blessed, and fortunate all at the same time. My Babies are healthy and beautiful. I’ve been trying to be Vegan for the last 5 years and it’s not easy when you’re surrounded by unhealthy foods. I never tried going 💯% RAW VEGAN. I’m doing it now and I am experiencing a intense detox; I can see and feel a lot of toxins coming out through my body. My diet is mostly fruit based and I do maybe a salad or a veggie dish a day to slow down the detox process. Slowly working my way up to a full blown Frugivore diet. I am now surrounded by sweet delicious fruit full of fructose (natural fruit sugars that can’t be compared to refined sugars) and loving the way I’m feeling. I’m powering through this part of the process which isn’t easy. When you start your raw diet your body will not be used to it so headaches are a common occurrence, but that’s was just in the first few days. I’m more energized and feeling recharged. Beautiful skin and health comes from the inside out. What are your favorite fruits? 🍇🍒🥝🍌🍍🫐

We WON 🙌🏽 @SXSW! I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am for our film @nuevorico we worked so hard to put this little baby together and she’s off now and we won’t be able to stop her. I believed in this film when it was an idea and in black and white pictures. I just remember being blown away by it and I knew I had to be apart of the future in cinema. This film represents not only the future for latin x futurism decolonization of cinema told by us but it represents our imagination, our hopes, our big ideas, possibilities, our connection to our people, our history, our heartbeat which is the rythym of the latin beat. I get to show my little sister that it is possible to have vision that’s colorful, big, unpredictable, unexpected and that she should never be afraid to speak up. I’m so thankful for our incredible team that keeps surprising us with their talent. We were lucky to combine our latin x power and create something that’s never be seen or heard of before. Thank you @sxsw for seeing us and letting the world be part of our journey. Thank you @krismerc for believing in my voice. Barbie is my angel and she’s here to stay. I’m ready for the world to see Nuevo Rico, we’ve been here this whole time we are United we are talented and we don’t give a fuck.

This is a bittersweet moment for me. My first video shoot with @ssdaigui was in the East Village about 8 years ago. Como la Flor was one of our first productions together, and we had been talking about making movies ever since, especially Bumblebees. It was a passion project that we had talked developing for years. Making it into @tribeca film festival was one of our many goals. We did it, Seb! You always took me into your world and nobody collaborated better than us. I loved seeing you as a new father and admired how you lived every moment of your life to the fullest. You shot your imagination everyday and I feel so lucky to have been a part of it. Through and beyond Tribeca, I promise to continue your legacy. I love you so much and I wish I told you more. We fought like siblings. I’m going to miss the days you drove me crazy and the days that I stressed you out. I love you and miss you, brother. You will always be in my heart and I promise to bring your spirit into everything I create.
