Brooke Ence Instagram – This is one of my favorite techniques we will be using in the upcoming Naked Training Challenge!
We add these on our high volume days. You start the set in the position that you are mechanically the weakest. Instead of dropping weight as you would during a typical dropset, you will be using the same weight but changing to a position you are mechanically stronger every set.
In this example, Iβm starting with DB Military Press, Dropping to DB Incline Bench, then dropping to DB Flat Bench Press for my final set in the strongest position.
I love these sets for a few reasons. First, you get to keep a challenging heavier weight throughout the entire dropset and recruit different areas of the muscle you are targeting. Second, you get a ton of bang for your buck in one dropset. If you’re short on time this is a great way to get a ton of quality work in a short period of time. Lastly, it’s fun! You’ve got to change your routine to keep training fun and engaging; these sets are always challenging and fun.

2a. Pull Ups
2b. Chin Ups
2c. Neutral Grip Pull Ups
