The Holy Trinity. @brownjryan had a crazy idea many years ago that @noemispanos jumped on board with. 7 (I think) trips around the sun later, @chrisbaugh23 is brought into the mix and Wreck begins to take tangible shape. Reading the scripts, you can feel the care and attention to detail that comes from people being extremely talented and extremely passionate about what they do. A story crafted around grounded characters that allow for the bat ship crazy antics to unfold. Support and collaboration filtered down from these three and created a place where everyone worked bloody hard but nobody took themselves too seriously. Completely without ego and deadly craic every single day – that feeling is totally infectious, it’s fun and it’s impossible not to want to do your best and throw yourself into the deep end. They deserve every success and more. Very proud to work with them and even prouder to know them. @wreckhq sets sail on @bbcthree and @bbciplayer October 9th at 10pm 📸: @hogieaaa__
The perfect Director/ DOP dynamic is one of the most coveted and these two are almost telepathic in their working. Kerno’s ability to bring Chris’ ideas to life was a joy to watch. When we move, they move … but they do it whilst carrying an extremely heavy, extremely expensive piece of kit, with one eye shut and often going backwards. Watching his creativity unfold was golden, he threw himself into it and by god has it paid off. I don’t know how they’ve all made an abandoned tyre factory in Ballymena look inviting, but I suppose you can do anything with a little bit of light and lot-tle bit of a talent.
