This is something you can do anytime, anywhere.

So many benefits :

Deep relaxation. Stress relief. Knee pain reduction.Alleviates tired legs. Calms your mind. Relieves leg and feet cramps. Helps with backaches. Softly opens the backs of your legs.

Doing it for about 15 minutes will amplify the effects. My aim by sharing this with you is to use your body while you are doing something else, so that it doesn’t feel like you have to take time out specifically for this.

Hope this helps,

It’s a deep squat position that helps to strengthen knees, ankles, and thighs.

It improves balance, concentration and focus.

It makes the legs, ankles, and feet stronger. Additionally, it frees up space in the spinal column and lumbar spine. This position also strengthens and expands the hips. It widens the hips and gives your leg muscles great strength and flexibility.

It is very helpful for your back and the digestive system.

It is considered one of the best exercises for PCOS (women – take note !)

You can ideally hold this position for 30 seconds to 1-4 minutes.

You can drink warm water in this pose to boost metabolism.

This pose brings a tremendous amount of pressure on knees and ankles, and so anyone with an injury at the knee or ankle should avoid this pose.

I do this as a warm up and sometimes in between sets, evening while talking to friends or while playing with the dogs.

Hope this helps,

breathe well,
