After killing hundreds of street protesters, including children and women, and arresting tens of thousands for peacefully demanding “Woman, Life, Freedom…”

After standing by as high school girls were gassed in class following their presence in the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement…”

President Ebrahim Raisi’s government will soon submit a bill to parliament proposing “non-physical” punishments against women who do not observe the forced-hijab.

“… [Punishments include] monetary fines ranging from 500,000 to three billion tomans ($50 to $60,000 based on current exchange rate), revoking driver’s license and passport, and imposing a ban on the use of the internet for celebrities and those who have channels and websites with high memberships,” said Hossein Jalali, a member of Parliament of Rafsanjan.
