No one is pregnant, no one is getting married, @lillunakristyn just wanted to get a group of gals together. She called it an Old Wives Party, where everyone brings a gift, the theme this year was “bring a home/kitchen item favorite” (which was really fun with such amazing food bloggers, they know their stuff.) I brought a wire basket with a bunch of our chicken eggs, and ceramic egg holders for the refrigerator. I got Kristyn’s. See what she gifted in the video! You’ve gotta see our favorite things we ate in Louisville! With the Kentucky Derby happening this week I thought it was a perfect time to share the places we loved while we were location scouting. Best donuts @north_lime, use to be an old factory, and they’re square! We stayed at @hancockhouselouisville, which is close to our favorite meals: salmon, broccoli, mashed potatoes and calamari from @seafoodlady; hamburger and brussel sprouts with a ginger beer and lime juice from @grindburgerkitchen; oysters and pizza from @garageonmarket. We loved getting to celebrate @obeygiant and meeting some possible crew for our upcoming film. It was such an amazing trip. It’s getting excited!! Have you ever been to #louisville or #kentucky? I’d love to hear other places we should visit on our next trip.
My favorite part might be the picture Nova and I made of Freddie. 😝 it took a few tries! The rest of our week was Easter activities, trying a new farmers market, @mesafarmersmarket, and visiting with friends.

Have you ever done this? I got to meet an online friend in real life! @alevidal introduced me to the sweetest tea house, @chachastealounge in #phoenix. Rode our bike’s to Rockwell’s voice lesson, saw a movie at @harkinstheatres. And worked on a few places in the house, including Phoenix’s room with his @roxymarj banner. We swear by this! Kerry and I have been jumping in (pun intended) to the #coldplunge trend. We try to go in every day for 3 minutes. It reminds me of swim team growing up, and having to mentally work through hard things. We challenged our company, and our kids to jump in this time and they did i it! Sometimes I work behind the camera. For this shoot I oversaw casting, wardrobe, makeup and props. With 14 actors, it was a lot of work, really interesting and always a new challenge.
