It's a privilege to be a filmmaker, and an even greater privilege to tell stories that come from a place of personal truth. The #lightsonwomenaward puts a spotlight on incredible female filmmakers, and stories being told through the female lens - which we need more of! It's an amazing initiative at @festivaldecannes and judged by none other than the indomitable (and personal hero of mine) Kate Winslet. Congratulations to all the nominees, I'm absolutely gutted - no pun intended - see you next year 🖤 Cannes Palais Des Festivals

#wastefreewednesday Fashion Edition 🌷 There’s a long way to go when it comes to fashion and sustainability. One of my biggest issues is that there is currently no standard for what makes something sustainable… When I get approached by a “sustainable” brand I always ask for an impact statement so I can assess the transparency and legitimacy of what that means for them. This past week @mollyddickson pulled a number of beautiful looks – incorporating vintage and loaned pieces, re-purposed, and vegan materials. I love fashion and think it’s one of the greatest forms of self expression, but it shouldn’t cost our future. #WFW
