Celina Jaitly Instagram - It took me 5 years to come to terms with this episode of our lives but I have finally summoned the courage to talk about my ordeal to help many parents who reach out to @haag.peter & I as they deal with the trauma of preterm birth and loss of a baby. Peter n I want such parents to know that they can get through this. In personal experience we both can vouch that your Preemie baby is a true survivor. #preemies show us the power of faith & prayer and the fight of the human spirit. Remember that most #prematurebabies survive and live completely normal, healthy lives. PS: Preterm is defined as babies born alive before 37 weeks of #pregnancy are completed. The outcome of our 2nd spontaneous #twinpregnancy was bittersweet due to Baby Shamsher’s loss due to a heart condition.( I went into labour at 32 weeks due to my fathers sudden passing.) It was very difficult for Peter n I but we smiled after many million tears in this photograph (1) to seal a happy memory for our blessing baby @arthurjhaag arrival as he went straight to NICU in an incubator for 3 months immediately upon his arrival. The NICU was a strange & difficult environment. From our experience, accepting that there will be good days and bad days will help you to feel less shocked & worried when challenging days happen. While not an option for everyone, Peter & I moved into the same hospital in Dubai for the few months of #nicu as loss of Shamsher left us immensely anxious about Arthur and feelings of frustration, intense sadness, nervousness, disappointment, guilt, anger, love overwhelmed us too. So please know that you are not alone in how you are feeling. Know that extreme & sometimes contradictory emotions are experienced by nearly every parent of a preemie at one time or another. It is very important at such a time to remember you can be more effective as a team than individually so watch your teamwork as parents. Speaking, singing gently to your premature baby in the NICU is a great way to bond and feel close, even when you can’t hold him. Remember Impossible odds set the stage for incredible miracles. Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it. #celinajaitly

They taught me n my brother the true definition of love for each other and for the country. My mother insisted on spending the last few days of her life at the military command hospital in Lucknow where they first met, until my brother n I moved her to Sahara Sheher to breath her last surrounded by family…. My beloved and revered mentor and godfather Mr FEROZ KHAN telephoned me all the way in Peurto Rico few hours after I won Ms Universe Runners Up title. His beautiful deep voice “CELINE BABY I WANT TO INTRODUCE YOU” still resonates deep within. He was a man of his words. This image of me playing the violin in a bikini literally broke the internet the day it was first published/released in the @timesofindia The song “AKHIYA AKHIYA” ( playing with this post) said Mr Khan was specially written for me… I was treated like a princess by the great Mr FEROZ KHAN and I will always be grateful to him and to the universe for this iconic launch and introduction to the world of Indian cinema. Celina Jaitly Instagram - One of the best things that I have learnt living in Austria is living with the goal of a life in agreement with nature. While I live in a scenic historic village in the very high altitude alpine area of central Austria I do often take trips to the bigger cities like Graz, Vienna & Salzburg for some “ME Time”. These historic cities have tiny beautiful lanes that tell tales of centuries and going through them is like a journey snaking through time periods, from past into present. However, the only drawback is finding a place to park. While I only feel most comfortable driving all terrain SUVs One of my favourite things to do is rent this amazing two-seat electric microcar & enjoy a day of European city pleasures while feeling good about my carbon footprint ( and finding the best parking spots) Austria is considered to be the environmental flagship of Europe and I have learnt so many wonderful things here. Celina Jaitly Instagram - Dumbell Chakdi Aii !!! I found I was more confident when I stopped being someone else’s definition of beautiful and started being my own. The difference between who you are and who you want to be is what you do. My fitness journey after two consecutive twin pregnancies has been quite a graph. I was dealing with my mind and body who were behaving as two entirely different entities. I would work on my mind and body would give up, but whenever I worked on my body my mind remained stable and elevated. Working out helped combat my phases of depression following my parents & baby’s loss during my second twin pregnancy, specifically certain workouts which I tailored myself during covid lockdowns. Working out around post pregnancy rectus diastases and hernias is even more challenging, you wonder why your tummy won’t go away or why your body feels spongy despite many efforts to get back to Gymn and hours of cardio. I did not hire a team of trainers to help me, I worked on educating myself in sports science, as well as taking advantage of my #austrian alpine outdoors during Covid … It took a lot of work and now some results are showing and I am sharing them to inspire you not to give up on yourselves. We all are works in progress and are roads which will always be under construction so instead of being hard on yourself just be consistent. I still have multiple hernia’s, severe Diastasis recti of the abdomen after carrying 2 sets of twins. Lost my parents & a baby in my 2nd twin pregnancy and had a condition close to a lung collapse as well. There are sometimes which are so difficult when you no longer can come to terms with life or recognise the person you see in the mirror… As human beings we will always have these days, some of us more than others.. There are days when I have to battle and confront so much darkness, but then Life has its UPS and DOWNS and I started turning them into SQUATS. Even though I am still building my self from scratch,I know there is something inside of us that is greater than any obstacle… In my darkest moments I hear my dad’s fauji ( military) voice in my mind that says Yaad rahey… Naam., Namak aur Nishaan (BC😄!! ) and I turn into a GC (Gentleman Cadet) and start lifting… Amazingly every workout big or small also changes how I feel…. To all those who have struggled with darkness I posted a glimpse of my story hoping to reach out to you to tell you that you are not alone. Give yourself another day, another chance. I am experiencing immense pain, grief and anger and mental distress as each day unfolds in Palestine . I do not understand politics but as a devout Hindu, as a humanitarian, as a mother, as a woman my religion and my belief system does not permit me to stay silent at the horrific consequences upon #palestinian civilians and above all their children. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel has a “clear goal of destroying Hamas’s military and governing capabilities”, as well as freeing the hostages. However all I see is collective punishment of all Palestinians for the actions of Hamas. All i see is bodies of small children strewn over the Palestinian soil. I do not understand politics and have no intentions to get into them but what “military” are they fighting? Palestinian civilians have no line of defence, no army, no navy, no airforce. The Palestinians don’t control their own borders. They don’t even control the Gaza sea. So on a basic, power dynamic level, there are no ‘two sides’ to this.  While I deeply condemn the unprecedented assault on Israel from the Gaza Strip on 7 October, killing 1,200 people and taking about 240 hostages is the killing and maiming all the children of #palastine the answer? 19000 Palestinians have been killed out of which approximately 9000 are children. Winter is descending, millions are displaced there is fighting and shelling everywhere. There are only 3 hospitals which are now out of all resources. All aid channels cut off.. Where do the people go, with their casualties with their children, senior citizens ? When I was feeling down n out about the outcome of consecutive twin pregnancies on my petite frame, with hernias and diastases etc I still remember my late mother telling me “A baby is a reason, not an excuse. Taking care of yourself is part of taking care of your kids.” So through my highs and lows, including loosing my biggest strengths my mom & dad … I kept going at my own pace, after all healing is not only a process but a lifestyle. Remember that most #prematurebabies survive and live completely normal, healthy lives. PS: Preterm is defined as babies born alive before 37 weeks of #pregnancy are completed. The outcome of our 2nd spontaneous #twinpregnancy was bittersweet due to Baby Shamsher’s loss due to a heart condition.( I went into labour at 32 weeks due to my fathers sudden passing.) It was very difficult for Peter n I but we smiled after many million tears in this photograph (1) to seal a happy memory for our blessing baby @arthurjhaag arrival as he went straight to NICU in an incubator for 3 months immediately upon his arrival. The NICU was a strange & difficult environment. From our experience, accepting that there will be good days and bad days will help you to feel less shocked & worried when challenging days happen. While not an option for everyone, Peter & I moved into the same hospital in Dubai for the few months of #nicu as loss of Shamsher left us immensely anxious about Arthur and feelings of frustration, intense sadness, nervousness, disappointment, guilt, anger, love overwhelmed us too. So please know that you are not alone in how you are feeling. Know that extreme & sometimes contradictory emotions are experienced by nearly every parent of a preemie at one time or another. It is very important at such a time to remember you can be more effective as a team than individually so watch your teamwork as parents. Speaking, singing gently to your premature baby in the NICU is a great way to bond and feel close, even when you can’t hold him. Remember Impossible odds set the stage for incredible miracles. Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it. #celinajaitly

Is what my soldier dad always told me…. This image was my dad’s favourite, it was on the day of my brother’s passing out parade at IMA, #dehradoon I am so proud to be a war heroes daughter. It was not easy being an infantry officers daughter. My father was away defending the country most of my life, I lived in the fear that every goodbye was our last. But he never ever stopped being a good father… One of the strongest motivating forces behind all my accomplishments my father made me a strong woman. On his death anniversary, it still seems unbelievable that I will never hear his booming voice again. My heart still aches in sadness, my silent tears still flow, for what it meant to loose you no one will ever know. My Mom ( Dr Meeta Jaitly) Seen here in this photograph could not bear the death of her soulmate and also passed away few months after dad’s untimely death leaving a massive void in our lives. They fell in love at Lucknow command hospital after the 1971 war where my dad was recovering from bullet and shrapnel injuries… They fought the cross cultural and religious conflict just to be together. They taught me n my brother the true definition of love for each other and for the country. My mother insisted on spending the last few days of her life at the military command hospital in Lucknow where they first met, until my brother n I moved her to Sahara Sheher to breath her last surrounded by family…. Working out helped combat my phases of depression following my parents & baby’s loss during my second twin pregnancy, specifically certain workouts which I tailored myself during covid lockdowns. Working out around post pregnancy rectus diastases and hernias is even more challenging, you wonder why your tummy won’t go away or why your body feels spongy despite many efforts to get back to Gymn and hours of cardio. I did not hire a team of trainers to help me, I worked on educating myself in sports science, as well as taking advantage of my #austrian alpine outdoors during Covid … It took a lot of work and now some results are showing and I am sharing them to inspire you not to give up on yourselves. We all are works in progress and are roads which will always be under construction so instead of being hard on yourself just be consistent.
