Gul Panag Instagram – Full of hot air. Literally. Our second time in Capadoccia. And just as magical. The hot air balloon ride is arguably one of the finest experiences that I’ve ever had. This time around, we had Nihal with us who was mesmerised. Seeing it all over again through his eyes, was an altogether different experience. Since we are here in the middle of summer, the days are very long , with sunrise at 5 AM. The balloon pilots typically take us up a little before so one can witness the sunrise in all its glory. Our pick up was at 3.45 AM. And Nihal was an absolute trooper. In fact, we woke up at 2.30 ( not unusual for Rishi, given his job💁🏻‍♀️,) cup of tea, when Nihal walked into the living room, rubbing his eyes. Hence, proved yet again, there are children will surprise us again and again.
