Best friends/sisters are the relationships that lay a foundation of care and love, the space where monuments of memories are built that nourish our emotional well being and support us through the tough times. My Golden sister @sujstyle turns 50. I am blessed to know her since our tumultuous teens, to watch her blossom and continuously reinvigorate her understanding of the world, to see how her passions, her kindness and intellect ignite others both professionally and personally. Some people go their whole lives not understanding what genuine, deep friendship is. Or that sisterhood requires three things to burn bright- heart, honesty, commitment. Okay and humour helps.
