Saw the doc the other day after a scan on the shoulder & it wasn’t looking great in there 😮💨 poor shoulders have taken a lifetime of abuse & this left side is the side I had the Axillary nerve graft on after getting hit by the car in 2008, so it’s delicate anyway! 🚗
I wanted to do ANDORRA World Cup, but after the shoulder injury at Fort William it’s not feeling that great still ,
& I wasn’t at full strength anyway so to keep racing with an injury would just be frustrating & stupid. I’m so gutted, I wanted to keep racing whilst I’d made some progress training & felt the passion, but now the injuries, old & new , seem so stacked up & I don’t really know how to proceed!!

Despite dislocating her shoulder, Rach powered on and finished 8th in front of the home crowd at Fort William 🏴

Few laps today @dyfibikepark , the shoulders feeling loads better but still a bit unstable in certain moves, just gonna live with it for a while & enjoy riding without the pressure
