I am mourning the business of making magic. The strike blues is not because of not having auditions or things to do, but because of all the beautiful things that will slowly dwindle into next to nothing as the entertainment executives foist more and more reality shows, game shows, and eventually AI driven stories and people. I’ve been watching some entertainment in the last couple of weeks. There is a lot of schlocky entertainment but there is also fantastic stuff and the amptp is making billions on the backs of INCREDIBLE MOVING FUNNY creations. Thank you for your wonderful unique contributions — you inspire me and I love you wonderful people. #namesmustremainhiddentoavoidpromotingamptpproperties. Goddamnit.

It’s been two weeks and the studio executives’ reps continue to refuse to come back to the table to resume negotiations. They instead are busy trying to hire scabs and #AI managers. I feel disheartened about the existence of this kind of nefarious greediness going on in the magical movie world. I guess super rich people don’t watch movies or tv. They think you the audience are gonna eat garbage tv and you’re gonna like it. 😡 #sagaftrastrong
