The Lumix G9II dropped last week and it’s sort of a sleeper 🔥 share this post with a friend that needs to check this out! I didn’t expect to love this camera so much, I’ve definitely been more of a full-frame shooter for most of my career but the GH6 has swooned me back over to the m4/3 side. When @Lumix was briefing me about this camera they said it would be a photo-centric camera but leave it to Lumix to make this a sleeper video beast too lol 📷 For stills, it boasts some impressive features, including: – 25mp – 75 frames per second burst (wtf!!) – 100mp high resolution mode – Phase Auto Focus! – New Picture Profiles from Leica 🎥 in video it’s got some crazy specs: – 5.8k Open Gate 4:2:0 – C4K 4:2:2 10bit – Dual Native ISO – AF up to 120fps – Prores Recording to an SSD – 8 stops of Image Stabilization – VLOG real time LUT function After my tests I actually think the G9II has an edge on the powerhouse that is the GH6, it’s got better lowlight performance and now has the seriously good Phase Autofocus. If you guys have been thinking about upgrading camera systems and don’t wanna break the bank you should definitely consider this $1899 USD camera. It’s going to be the perfect camera for sports/wild photographers who need high burst rates, for travel photo/video folks who want a lightweight camera lenses and really anyone who wants to get into video without having to buy a $4000 full-frame camera. I’ve been hiding behind the lens for most of my life, it allows me to feel as if I’m operating through reality without really being noticed. It also makes it seem as if everything is okay, but in actuality, it’s not, and I want to try and help normalize that not being okay is okay. I have depression, and ADHD and am neurodivergent, and am a loner on the verge of burnout and…the list could go on and on. There’s a very real part of me that says if I stay strong and appear like everything is okay, then maybe I can even trick myself into believing that reality. But eventually all masks fall off and you’re left staring at yourself in the mirror, you will have to face the music of who you really are, so you can gain clarity on who you’re meant to be. To anyone that is suffering right now, where you think everything is f*cked, things do get better, everything undulates up and down over time. Allow yourself to cry, to scream, to do nothing at all for an entire day. When I try to be my strongest, I’m really just feeding into my weakest self. My first time off-road riding was a 10/10 experience 😎 Huge thanks to @simplymotocanada who geared me up from head-to-toe, I spent nearly 2 hours in their store carefully trying out equipment that both felt good AND looked good. If you need motorcycle equipment, from street to dirt and beyond, or just need to grab some parts for your bike, don’t sleep on this hidden gem of a store in Grimsby, ON – it’s worth the drive.
