How I changed my voice using AI 🤖👇 First up, all you need to do is record want you want the AI voice to be saying, it doesn’t have to be high quality, voice notes on your phone will do just fine. The AI will try its best to match the pacing, intonation and flow of your speech so try to nail that the best you can. Transfer your voice note to your computer and then head over to @elevanlabsio website and upload your voice. From here you can select from hundreds of pre-made voices, generate an original voice from scratch, create voices using text to speech and more. I spent about an hour browsing through the voice library and then generating samples over and over again until I got a deep, gritty and epic voice that felt perfect for the ridiculousness of the video. These AI tools continue to amaze me every day, I’ve never felt so empowered to make just about anything. p.s. I colour graded that drone shot in Photoshop, but that’s for another story 😏 #filmmaker #filmmaking #AItools #behindthescenes🎬 #DowntownLA #creator #djimini3pro #aifilmmaking #elevenlabs

X-PAN is a cinematic images cheatcode 📸 Walking the streets of NYC with my @Lumix S5IIx in this ultra wide angle mode was some of the most fun I’ve ever had capturing street photography, and I think the photos speak for themselves. Thanks to @whoschrischu and @jakechams for the use of their x-pan footage/photos. Did you like this new style of reel where I tell a bit more of a story? Tried some new techniques in this BMW i5 commercial! Which is your fav? 🎥⚡️ Head on over to my broadcast channel to see more breakdowns and insider info on how I created this energetic commercial for @BMWcanada. I had 2 days to prep for this shoot (while on a camping trip) and only a single day to capture the car, it was a mad dash to get everything I needed for the vision I had in mind but I’m so so happy with how it turned out! Shot on the @Lumixusa S5IIx in 6k ProRes, an absolute powerhouse of a camera. 🙌 Thanks to my crew who helped me bring this to life @davemakesmovies @lucancoutts @samlydya #bmwi5 #lumixcreatives #lumixshooter #lumixs5II #carvideographer #carphotography #bmwm #carvideography #creator #lumixs5iix #bmw
Do you ever find it hard to stop working? I’ve been road-tripping through Quebec with @ms.chels for the past 2 weeks and have barely worked more than a few hours this entire time. I feel this background anxiety that I SHOULD be hustling and grinding everyday but fail to remember that this is the exact reason why I keep feeling like I’m on the verge of burnout. Creating this container where I knew work would be limited has been so nourishing for my soul, everyday has been filled with adventure, laughter and so much love. I’m actually building up this energy to be excited to get back to work, which is a feeling I haven’t experienced in quite some time – but in the meantime I’m going to enjoy the heck out of the rest of my road-trip through this very special place in Canada. ✍️ I’m partially writing this as a reminder to myself: ▹ Leave notifications off ▹ Keep my phone in airplane mode ▹ Create an auto-email responder ▹ And leave the work mentality at home A little time off isn’t going to end your career, I think it’s going to empower it. Hope you’re all having an amazing adventurous Fall my friends! 🍂🍁🧡 📸 Photo by @ms.chels 💻 Edit by me using the new @photoshop Beta which has some amazing features, including Lens Blur which allows me to make the depth of field of my micro four-thirds @Lumix GH6 look like the full frame blur of my S5II 🤯 #explorequebec #creatorsupport #lumixgh6 #creator #fallphotoshoot
Being a creator can be incredibly lonely, can you relate? If you’re like me you CONCEPTUALIZE SHOOT EDIT DELIVER/UPLOAD in solitude I think that’s why we so intrinsically feel the need for validation of our work. It’s not the best habit and I’m aware of it but as soon as I finish an edit I immediately want to show everyone I know, part of that is healthy in terms of showcasing something I’m proud of. But the other half is needing validation that I am skilled and valuable, and that I didn’t make a disastrous mistake when choosing this as my career path. So how does this relate to the above photo set? I attended @RobAnzit’s #SigmaCreativeSpaces event recently and was reminded how important community and collaboration is to every creator’s reality. While many aspects of creativity are inherently lonesome by nature, the experience itself doesn’t have to be one in your own echo chamber. I’m trying to surround myself with more local creators, to work in co-op spaces, to hire more talented people to assist my efforts. The dangers of being both introverted and a perfectionist means that collaboration without micro-managing is not easy for me, but I’m aware of this and always strive to be better every day. So what am I trying to say here? 🎤 GO TO EVENTS 👯♀️ COLLABORATE WITH YOUR FRIENDS 🤝 COLLABORATE WITH HUMANS YOU’VE NEVER MET 👋 GO WORK AROUND OTHER CREATORS 🤔 ASK FOR FEEDBACK, SHARE WORK WITH YOUR CIRCLE I’m basically shouting this to myself as a reminder, and maybe it’ll be a good reminder for you too. Thanks for reading, as always 🎬💙 📸 Photos by my new friend whom I met at this very event, @captured_by_thea_photography (see her in the last frame), thanks for approaching me and being part of the important reminder of getting out there. #creatorsupport #sigmacanada #contentcreator #instagramcreator

🔊👀 People will watch a sh*tty looking movie that sounds good but they won’t watch a good looking movie that sounds like sh*t. Sound design is SO critical to making your visuals feel elevated, and an amazing way to stand out from the crowd. This sound design task was especially interesting because electric cars inherently don’t make much sound at all, so I thought to myself how can I make this BMW i5 feel alive, feel powerful and raw but still subdued and classy. I implored over 30 different sound FX layers such as jet engine starting up, Tesla coil, generating station, thunderstorm, lightsaber, laser beam, and of course sounds of the i5’s electric engine. I get 80% of my sound design assets from @artlist.io which I think has some of the best sounds out there, it’s rare that I can’t find what I’m looking for. The other 20% is compiled from sounds I capture on site, or literally creating sounds that sound similar to what I’m looking for. So what do you guys think about this sound design only pass? It could almost stand-alone as a piece I think! Ask me any of your sound design questions below 👇 #sounddesign #sfx #bmwi5 #premierepro #contentcreator #filmmaking #behindthescenes🎬
New tripod, new experience capturing butterflies🦋special clip of me swooning at the end 😅 Thanks @siruiimaging for the best travel tripod I’ve ever owned, it’s got the Simo stamp of approval. bts shots by my butterfly mission teammate @juanjosela Photos video captured on the @lumix G9II the new 100-400mm zooms lens (that also doubles for macro) 2024 is gonna be a big bug year, @ms.chels and I have proclaimed it 💪 #lumix #butterfly🦋 #naturephotographer #lumixg9ii #monarchbutterfly
Do I make a good Elf? 📸 🧝♂️ I’ve been told by more people than you’d think that I have Elf-ish features due to my tall slender frame, blonde hair and pale complexion – which I don’t mind at all, I think just elves are magical creatures. I always go pretty hard with costumes for Halloween and this year was no exception. It lets me flex my creativity in a different way than I’m used to and wanted to play into the elf aesthetic that’s been on my mind. I put together most of my costume with the help of @theatrixcostumehouse, I was able to take pieces from different themed outfits and assemble what I thought was the most Elven looking wardrobe I could muster. I topped it off with some elf ears, accessories and other cheap (but looked good on camera) costume elements tried eye shadow on myself for the first time. I’m really happy on how it all came together, and it’s a good reminder that I can literally dress up in costume anytime I want, it doesn’t have to fall on Halloween. 😘 Thanks to @ms.chels for my costume support, emotional support and photography support 📷 Shot on the @LumixUSA S5IIx with the 24-70mm pro lens and the @moment 20% diffusion filter 💻 Photo edits by me #halloween #halloweencostume #lumixs5II #lumixs5iix #darkelf #cosplay #LOTR #lumixshooter #creator #halloweenphotoshoot #elfcosplay #halloweenmakeup

Could you shoot a nature doc handheld? 🤔 It sure feels like it when I use the @lumix GH6 with the new 100-400mm and 2x extender. Because of the m4/3 sensor this is equivalent to a whopping 1600mm focal length which is really the only way I was able to see this mama Moose and her calf more than 600m (2000ft) away. Sure it’s not perfect, the IBIS can only do so much but it created a stable enough image that you can easily add a bit of stabilization in post to create a rock solid shot. This would be absolutely impossible without a tripod only a few years ago. I’ve been blown away at Lumix’s stabilization ever since the GH5 and I’m pretty jaw dropped at how good it is in the G9II. I’m super happy with the decision to leave my full frame camera at home on this roadtrip towards Gaspé because I would have never been able to get shots like this 😍 Now I’m getting back to enjoying this epic nature that Quebec has to offer ✌️ #naturevideo #lumixgh6 #explorequebec #moose #filmmaker
