Jon Simonassi Instagram – Do you ever find it hard to stop working? I’ve been road-tripping through Quebec with @ms.chels for the past 2 weeks and have barely worked more than a few hours this entire time.
I feel this background anxiety that I SHOULD be hustling and grinding everyday but fail to remember that this is the exact reason why I keep feeling like I’m on the verge of burnout.
Creating this container where I knew work would be limited has been so nourishing for my soul, everyday has been filled with adventure, laughter and so much love.
I’m actually building up this energy to be excited to get back to work, which is a feeling I haven’t experienced in quite some time – but in the meantime I’m going to enjoy the heck out of the rest of my road-trip through this very special place in Canada.
✍️ I’m partially writing this as a reminder to myself:
▹ Leave notifications off
▹ Keep my phone in airplane mode
▹ Create an auto-email responder
▹ And leave the work mentality at home
A little time off isn’t going to end your career, I think it’s going to empower it.
