Parvathy Omanakuttan Instagram – ‘Mise en place” – “MEEZ – AHN – PLAHS” I remember the day I first heard that word. It was my Father’s Day off from work, and he was in the kitchen ,helping mom prep for our favorite Biryani.
This is also a word he loves to throw around to annoy my mom because they both have very different ways of working in the kitchen.
Although I had no clue what this new word meant I wanted to know more. While slicing the onions paper thin, my father explained to me the rules of restaurant cooking created by the french.
That day, I was introduced to a culinary world with some very difficult words to pronounce.
The beauty of it all is that, Without me realising, my culinary lessons had started very early on in life; it inspired me to learn about world food.
In the words of Julia child – “It’s so beautifully arranged on the plate — you know for sure someone’s fingers have been all over it.” … “BUEN PROVECHO” {BWHEN- PROH- VECHCHOH} #love #vegetarian #instagram #food #foodie #health #healthyfoodshare #plantbased #foodporn #instafood #healthy #foodphotography #homemade #foodblogger #foodstagram #yummy #healthylifestyle #vegetarianfood #vegetarianrecipes #delicious #veggie #organic #foodlover #vegetables #tastyfood #healthyeating #foodnetwork #culinary #cheflife #instagood Home sweet home
