Today is a very special day in my world. One that fills me with gratitude for the gift of emotional presence that four years of sobriety has given me. It wasn’t easy- but nothing that truly transforms is. After the magic that ensued at the Massey Hall show, I knew I really wanted to record this song and give it to the world. It just felt right to share the reason and the story with other ears and other hearts. And so, after A LOT of fun recording with @bravakilo (who engineered and co-produced w me and @milesondrums , shooting with @henrymashera and @dzesikadevic, and planning with @welcometoarthaus, I’m SO EXCITED to welcome my cover of “Good Days” into the world. To me, this song represents chosen family, and how life saving they can be to us. It’s a huge part of the story of my life, and I’m so excited to share that story with you today.
