He made the portrait using a nearly extinct technique, 24K gold point drawing on a prepared ground of crushed bone & rabbit skin glue (crazy, I know! 😅). Word came earlier this year from the Joint Principal Secretary to the King at Buckingham Palace that the work was safely received & now exists in the Royal collection in England 😊. It was so cool to see the correspondence to HRH King Charles III on the Buckingham Palace stationary. My heart skipped a beat! Smiling at my love @blivblack , post cocktail🍹 in my favorite place (Bermuda!) while Grandma & Grandpa watch Bodie 🙏 , & waiting to meet up with a dear friend for dinner @rajtolaram 🤍. Finally feeling more like myself again post-baby👶🙏 . My doctor told me it takes 18 months for women’s bodies to completely* heal from pregnancy & childbirth (not to mention the major life adjustments!!), so please give yourself time & grace, Mommas 💙💙💙.
